| THE CONSTELLATIONS - BARBARY APES OF GIBRALTAR | ||
![]() |
The fifth extended play single in as many months and still going strong!! Surely no man can keep up such a pace... ah, but the force behind The Constellations is scarcely any man...
Let's talk about the music in a more concrete way this time. The opening track opens with the drone - AHHHHHHHHHHH - of synthesizers waiting to be turned loose. They must wait some time. Then the drums start, building, building, and then... "Gentlemen, raise your cold, dead hands to the sky!!". And so it goes. It sounds like Madonna turned into a man, playing an electronic flute, and collaborating with Depeche Mode & The Byrds. I'm sorry, that's a lie. I can't really say what it sounds like, and I don't want to fool you. Here's an idea... why not listen to the title track from this one? Sure! Why not? If you like it, buy the record. If you hate it, ask yourself if you really hate it so much that you don't want to buy it. You probably don't. This valued prize is the fifth volume of the Dominion Singles Club, which deserves your attention and currency. If you subscribe to the club you also get to see some pretty funny videos. And I will write you letters. Listen to The Constellations and read a book. This item can be purchased through this website, and the mail. |
