A word on copyright. What is copyright? Who owns these songs? Who owns these recordings? Here is my conclusive answer: I own the right to make money off the songs. Nobody owns the songs, and nobody ever will.

What does this mean? Please download them. Please share them. Please put them on mixed CDs and tapes. If you buy one of my CDs rip the songs and distribute them to your heart's content. If you sell them in any way I will find you, and I will sell you. To bad people. For cheap. Once I'm dead, you can do whatever the hell you like, but you should think of my destitute children and grieving widows first.

If you like the music enough that you want to pay for it, please do. If not, that's fine.

"Drowned" by The Constellations (from Drowned EP - 2006)

The Constellations have a real drummer!! Well, no, they don't, but it sure sounds like it. And what a difference real animal skins make. Do you wish the average song had more totally superfluous synthesizer flourishes? Listen to this and you'll be pleased.

"I Feel Okay, I Don't Feel Haunted" by The Constellations (from Waste Your Life On The Ark of The Covenant EP - 2005)

This could well be my favourite overall song from the whole singles project. The lyrics rule to the max, the guitar sounds nice for once, and the overall atmosphere is, well, ghostly? And the final refrain, ah, positively anthemic. You'll like it!!

Listen to "Soap" "I Don't Want to Leave My Hometown" by The Constellations (from Oh, Captive Princess! EP - 2004)

So I hooked up up three Korg synthesizers and got them going all at once. The results rule. The fast bit (wee-oh-wee-oh-wee) was played by hand!! And that is the absolute limit of my meagre skills. Classic analogue mayhem.

Listen to "The Last Atheling" "You're A Wanted Man (You Monster!)" by The Constellations (from Undead EP - 2005)

This one will get you rocking a little more than usual. Note the lovely singing, not done by me! You might have to listen to this whole single to "get" this song - well not really, but it was a concept EP. Dying art, that.
