THE CONSTELLATIONS - OH, CAPTIVE PRINCESS!
Where have all the painfully high voices gone? Where? Absolutely nowhere - they're right here. The final single of 2004 brings back the best thing there is in music: singing slightly out of your range a whole lot. Why did I stop doing it? I can't say, but it won't happen again dear, I promise.

This single completes the holy trinity of synthesizer-driven mayhem begun in October with Someone Died in this House. It is done. The results have been wonderful. This EP features my best synth playing and programming to-date, and some hot drumming too.

The blistering sequence of "I Don't Want to Leave my Hometown", the pumping bass on "Kids, You've Been Lied To", and the fact that the first word of every even-numbered song title is followed by a comma make this an irresistible gem!!

Next month all the electronics will be locked up in a cage, or at least confined to the background. Something new is brewing.

This little devil is the third volume of the Dominion Singles Club, which deserves your attention and currency.

Listen to The Constellations and find out why SPIN magazine didn't mention them ONCE this year!!
